Partner Search Forums 2016

Four Partner Search events, focusing on different thematic fields, will be organised in the programme area in the first weeks of April, for all those organisations looking for a partner to suit their project’s needs.

Organisations interested in applying their projects to the Programme, but in need of a partner,  either from their country or from across the border, are invited to attend one of the partner search events, organised as a continuation of Information Days in four of the locations.

To keep the discussion focused and to attract the most appropriate types of organisations to the events, we have assigned a theme to each of them, dividing them into those focusing on Tourism and Environment / Nature Protection  (Priority Axis 2) and those focusing on Cooperation and Education (Priority Axes 3 and 4).

Thus, applicants searching for partners for projects in the field of Tourism and Environment / Nature Protection should visit the workshops in:

-for the eastern part of the Programme area-
  • 4 April, 1 p.m. Asembly Hall of Baranya County (Baranya Megyei Közgyűlés Díszterme), Hungary, 7621 Pécs, Papnövelde utca 5;

-for the western part of the Programme area-
  • 12 April, 1 p.m. Tourist Information Centre (Turistički informativni centar Križevci), Trg Josipa Jurja Strossmayera, 48260 Križevci, Croatia.

According to the Cooperation Programme, the projects to be supported within this Priority Axis should focus on the preservation, reconstruction, revitalisation, management, promotion, marketing and branding of natural and cultural heritage sites in order to increase their visibility, furthermore to developing new and innovative tourism products and enhancing the cross-border tourism destinations.
Also supported within this Priority Axis will be projects that contribute to a more coordinated and sounder management of protected areas and/or Natura 2000 sites, in improved knowledge on the status of soil and water bodies as well as the ecosystem conditions, also in joint monitoring systems, shared action plans and coordinated processes created to accelerate reactions to emerging hazards, especially in terms of invasive species or pollution.

On the other hand, organisations interested in priorities 3 Cooperation and 4 Education should make their way to:

-for the eastern part of the Programme area-
  • 6 April, 1 p.m. Business incubator (Poduzetnički inkubator Virovitičko-podravske županije d.o.o.), 33 000 Virovitica, Croatia, Ulica Poduzetnička zona II 18
-for the western part of the Programme area-
  • 11 April, 1 p.m. Tourism Centre of Nagyatád (Nagyatádi Turisztikai Központ), Hungary, 7500 Nagyatád, Széchenyi tér 7.

According to the Cooperation Programme, the projects to be supported within Priority Axis ’Cooperation’ should pay special attention to maximise interactions, promote mutual understanding and facilitate the formulation of territorial governance frameworks, while focusing on the capacity building aspect of the joint actions to be carried out, such as the enhancement of structures, processes and human resources; including the design and delivery of a series of joint cultural and sports events ensuring that people meet and interact together with civil society organisations and municipalities.

Projects supported within Priority Axis ‘Education’ should focus on jointly developed and jointly delivered educational and training services, including, if necessary, small-scale upgrading of educational premises as a complementary activity.

In case you are still having any doubts as to what thematic field your project idea belongs to, please consult the relevant chapters in the Guidelines for Applicants  or contact the Joint Secretariat  with your questions.

Potential applicants are also encouraged to use the Partner Search Module at http://www.huhr-cbc.com/en/partnersearch website and either check the already existing project ideas or upload new ones.
