ECDay 2015

Celebrated on 21 September and the surrounding days and weeks, the European Co-operation Day has been an opportunity to show the results and share the experiences of the successful co-operation realised with the support of the European Union and to spread the spirit of collaboration and support within the local communities.

The fourth edition of European Cooperation Day was launched during the event 'Interreg 25 years'  taking place on 15-16 September in Esch-Belval, Luxembourg. This year's campaign was kicked off by the unveiling of the Interreg slogan 'Cooperation for a better Europe', painted by a grafitti artist, being just one in the long list of local events all over Europe that all share a common feature, they are promoting the spirit of partnership, collaboration and joint efforts in bringing different communities together through various co-operation projects.

The campaign is co-ordinated by Interact Programme, who are supporting all the participating co-operation programmes in the organisation of their local events, encouraging their efforts to come up every year with new, creative and informative ways to present European co-operation, its results and impact to the local communities.

A detailed list of all the events and an interactive map are featured on the campaign’s website, which is being constantly updated with new materials and reports from the events held during the week surrounding 21 September.
