Contracting, Consultation and Cooperation

With no calls currently open to applicants, the focus of the Programme is now shifting to the contracting and implementation of the projects selected for funding within the First Call for Proposals. The process is still on-going, but a number of projects are expected to start with implementation in the month of May.

Following the Decision on the Award of Funding by the Monitoring Committee of the Programme in March 2017, all the supported projects were sent Letters on the Award of Funding informing them on the results of the selection procedure within the first call for proposals.

In line with the Programme rules, all the Lead Beneficiaries were given a deadline of 30 or 60 days, depending on whether their project includes works component or not, to submit to the Programme the documents needed for contracting and for the fulfilment of the specific conditions for their projects set by the Monitoring Committee at the time of Decision.

Within the contracting period, the beneficiaries are being guided by the Joint Secretariat (JS) and are also given the opportunity to take part in the personal consultation with the JS Programme Manager assigned to their project, in order to minimise the opportunity for any potential problems during the implementation of the projects.
Following the efforts put into the Programme’s increased presence in the programme area, the personal consultations are being held in JS offices in Čakovec, Osijek and Pécs, as well as at the premises of the beneficiaries, if necessary, or the main office in Budapest, if more convenient.

As a number of projects have started as of May 2017, the main documents guiding the implementation have been published on the Programme website to provide support to the beneficiaries.
