The Monitoring Committee (MC) as the joint decision-making body which supervises and monitors the Programme’s implementation, on its 5th meeting held on 8 October 2025 in Pécs (Hungary) selected the projects to be supported within the First Call for Proposals (CfP).
The First CfP of the Interreg VI-A Hungary-Croatia Programme 2021-2027 was launched on 2 September 2024 by the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds of the Republic of Croatia acting as the Managing Authority (MA) in the Programme, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary as the Hungarian National Authority (NA). The open First CfP was closed on 29 November 2024, receiving a total of 129 applications, with the most popular thematic areas being Specific Objective 4.6 (Enhancing the role of culture and sustainable tourism in economic development, social inclusion and social innovation) with 45, and Specific Objective 4.2 (Improving equal access to inclusive and quality services in education, training and lifelong learning) with 32 submitted applications.
