In order to ensure that relevant and timely findings and recommendations to support its implementation, the Programme is subject to evaluation throughout its life cycle. The purpose of the evaluation is an independent contribution to assessing and adjusting the implementation of the Programme in terms of its efficiency and effectiveness, as well as the analysis of the contracted and implemented projects with respect to relevance, coherence and sustainability of outputs and results, in order to ensure and document that the Programme outcomes are visible and sustainable with high policy relevance.
