Newsletter 06, Second Call for Proposals launched!

We Launched the Second Call!

Dear Readers,

at the beginning of the new year we have some very good news to share: after implementation of the First Call projects and Best practice Conference in November, the Programme achieved another major milestone with the launch of the Second Call for Proposals on the very last day of January!

With resources available through the Programme’s three out of four Priority Axes amounting to a grand total of 20.8 M EUR indicatively,  there will be again plenty of opportunities for Hungarian-Croatian partnerships to apply their project proposals for funding by the Programme within any of the supported areas: Sustainable Use of Natural and Cultural Assets; Co-operation or Education.

As before, the Call is open for more than 90 days, leaving abundant time for the applicants to develop their project ideas and convert them into project proposals, as well as to elaborate and acquire all the required documentation. All the way, the JS and the JS Contact Points will be providing support with a traditional round of Information Days, the schedule to which can be found on the Programme’s website as well as in this Newsletter. All along, the application package, FAQ, and all the most relevant and up-to-date information will be available through the Programme’s website, with all the help the applicants could need only a click away.

Meanwhile, we are happy to report that with the last day of May 2018 ‘De-mine HU-HR II’ i.e. De-contamination of the war-affected territories, the first strategic project in the Programme, was closed with the final Conference in Villány, in the Hungarian county of Baranya.

Another strategic project, but implemented within Priority 1, is a special B-light scheme for the SMEs, which is currently running its 2nd Call for Light Project Proposals, developed from Light Concepts selected in April 2018, with another Call for Light Concepts planned for later this year. The results of the 1st Call for Light Project Proposals will soon also be known and we are sure to report about the first SMEs supported within the scheme in one of the following Newsletters.

Last September, just like every year since 2012, the Programme took part in the celebrations of European Cooperation Day with more than 15 events all over the Programme area on and around 21 September.

To stay on top of all things Programme, we invite you to like the official Programme Facebook page, where all the latest news on the Programme and EU issues are shared.

You can find plenty more details in the Newsletter ahead, starting with the Programme's Best Practice Conference in the Hungarian spa town of Zalakaros in the western part of the Programme area!
